"Who Were My Ancestors?"

Do you ever ask yourself, “Who were my ancestors?” Perhaps you wondered about a person in a family photograph or heard a family story. Was there a Revolutionary War, Civil War or other war veteran in your family? Who was your first family member to arrive in America? When did it happen? Were they an immigrant in the 1700s, 1800s or more recently in the 1900s? It may be possible to find out where they lived, their occupation, if they moved from one place to another, received a soldier’s pension or land grant.
There’s a good chance answers to these questions can be found by hiring a professional genealogist. Let me put my skills to work for you. I can search for documents that reveal your family’s story. If you want to know, “Who were my ancestors?”
First, request an appointment so we can discuss what it is you want to learn about an ancestor. After our discussion, I’ll review what you have and once a contract is signed provide you a research plan.
Hourly rates vary based upon the service performed. Travel expenses are included. Examples of additional costs include, for example, parking, copying fees, and postage.
Additional Services
These include: record retrieval from repositories like the NYS Archives and Library, family tree and research reviews, recommendations for next steps and transcription.
